Using acceptance and commitment therapy with couples

ACT with Couples:
In this course, participants will learn how to utilize the hexaflex with the couples in their practice. This training will teach act based communication skills, interventions for each point of the hexaflex and specific metaphors that clinicians can use with clients.

In this course, we learn about the basic tenants of the enneagram and the 9 personality types. Then, we will provide ACT based interventions for each personality type and discuss how the ACT and the Enneagram can work effectively together in treatment.

In this course, we will learn 15 new interventions that therapists can use with clients. Trainer will provide handouts, activities and instructions for each intervention as well as discuss different variations that can be used.
